Illustration Friday: Little Things

I have been getting used to illustrating lots of little things just recently, first lightning bugs and now crickets.
This is the latest illustration for a children’s book I am working on based on collective nouns for groups of animals - in this case, a chorus of crickets!

Thanks for all the comments guys - it’s so nice to see people respond to my style of working so positively as finding my own style is something I have struggled with.
